Eurofarma is once again ranked among the most innovative pharmaceutical companies by Valor Inovação 2022
São Paulo, July 2022 – Eurofarma, the pharmaceutical company that most heavily invests in innovation in Brazil, was once again recognized as one of the most innovative companies in the sector by Valor Inovação, in the 2022 edition of the annual survey conducted by Valor Econômico in partnership with Strategy & PWC. For the third consecutive year, the company took second place in the "Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences" category.
This is the 8th edition of the Award, considered to be the most relevant innovation publication in Brazil. The highlight topic for this year's survey was "5G and the business model revolution," which evaluated the innovation practices of companies operating in 25 different industries. The challenges for these companies were many, especially in the post-pandemic scenario.
The organizations were evaluated in five pillars for the ranking, and the most innovative ones tested business models that left important legacies and broke paradigms. The criteria are as follows:
- Intention to innovate
- Effort for achievement
- Results obtained
- Market perception
- Knowledge generation
The virtual event that announced the winners was held on Tuesday, July 26, and Eurofarma, in addition to being names vice-leader in its category, occupied the 42nd position in the general ranking, up six positions over the previous year.
This recognition drives the company to invest even more in its innovation pillar, working with entrepreneurship and integrating researchers, universities, supply chain, and public initiatives every day, always with the goal of making health care accessible so that everyone can live longer and better.
